any good leads on a Fahrenheit thermometer that uses pt100 sensor and can be panel mounted <$40? Can be 24v or 110v. Building a control box and wanting to run a straight up thermometer for the chill plate setup. I know I could use a PID or a thermostat but looking for clean setup.

I like this one a lot! Only issue I see is that it set up for DC voltage. As I see it, I need to have either 110 volt AC or 24 V AC. Converter/transformer is set up for conversion voltage, not DC. I wrote the seller to see if they had any of those in AC options.

...or, found this gem on Amazon for converting AC to DC. Given the time I’ve spent looking for this #*!$ thermometer, I think I’m ready to splurge the $9 + thermometer suggested so I can put this piece of the project in the rear view mirror.

The display doesn't draw a lot of power and can even run off as low as 5 volts. There are cheap converters, you could probably even salvage parts from a cell phone charger or something.

Are you using a pump? If you want to use a dc pump, you can go with a bigger power supply and run it off the same converter. I run my panel PIDs and grain mill off converters similar to these.

Thanks for sharing. Pumps have been previously bought/used so will use the cheap A to DC converter and the thermometer suggested. Much appreciated!
