When brewing smaller batches I sometimes used an oxygen tank with a diffusion stone to add oxygen to my wort prior to pitching yeast.

I now brew 15 gallon batches using a conical for fermenting.

Anybody out there oxygenate wort in conicals? Is it worth the effort?

I certainly oxygenate in my conicals. I cannot see any reason to STOP oxygenating once you make the change. I don't think you are going to get O2 levels where you need/want them otherwise.

Why would you be able to get away with not oxygenating just because it's a conical? Once you get that size batch though, you may benefit from an inline oxygenator. I have the O2 stone that will thread into a 1/2" tee so you can flow chilled wort past the stone with the gas flow set very low.
