Overcrushing of Grain?

I don't think so but overcrushing is great for stuck sparges! Rice hulls are a must. I just recently got a grain mill as a bday gift and had a stuck sparge right out of the rip on the default gap. I'm leaving the gap and adding the rice hulls for now. I can tell no difference in taste from the grains ground at the LHBS.
 
I imagine any off flavors would probably be attributed to a myriad of other things. I upped my crush to the point where I am getting a lot of "flour" in my mash and the only thing that has happened is my efficiency has gone way up. +1 on the rice hulls depending on your sparge method to be on the safe side. I personally have only used them once and still haven't had a stuck sparge......fingers crossed.
