Is an over the top herbicide OK to use for adequate grass removal around hops? Bottle states that it is safe for ornamentals.

What is it? I'm sure there's a lot of ornamentals it can be used on but doubt if something like hops was considered in label approval. The old fashioned way is usually the safest.

It lists fruit trees and certain vegetables. Over the top is a grass killing only herbicide. Just wondering if anyone has used it with any success.

First you have to identify and determine what grasses you are wanting to control then read the label to see if the product will control those grasses. Also, check to see if your product is labeled to be used safely on your particular crop. Then check to see if there are any precautions when using it in on a product to be consumed . The label has lots and lots of information on it and you should be familiar with it before you use it or you may encounter some problems. Just like credit card 'terms and conditions', you'll find some interesting stuff in the fine print.
