Over fermenting?

So I think I messed up. I brewed a double IPA and I put it in my fermenting closet 4 weeks ago. Is there a way I can tell if it went bad? Should I just dump it or should I bottlenit and give it a shot?
 
I'm sure it has not turned to poison. You probably lost a little hop aroma, but other than that it should be fine (assuming you ensured good temp control and healthy pitch rate).
4 weeks is nothing. RDWHAHB.
 
Just 4 weeks? No worries. It would've taken 2-3 weeks to ferment anyway. Consider the additional time to be conditioning, dry hop it in the primary 4-5 days and call it good.
