I was just reading the instruction manual for the blichmann G2 boilermaker. It says the max lauter rate for a 100 gallon pot is .75 gallons per minute. I have an original boilermaker 55 gallon and it's max lauter is .55 gpm. I thought the 100 gal boilermaker was the same width and false bottom as the 100 gallon, I'm just wondering why it can lauter so much faster? Has anyone ran a 55 gal boilermaker maker at .75 gpm?

55gpm seems a little high. Maybe there is a typo in the instructions and they meant 55 gph?

The OP said .55 gpm not 55 gpm. I can see how 55 gpm would be crazy fast! :ban:

I would guess the faster rate of the 100 gallon pot is because it is taller so it would have more weight/pressure. Best bet might be to email Blichmann, they have seemed pretty responsive in the past.
