I got a 50lb bag of organic 2row, that's wanting to be brewed....
Is there any taste difference with the organic 2row?
Any recipes for a organic brew?

I'll got some organic hops also, but Im not sure on the kind(working)...
I make 15-20 gallon batches, so I kinda want to use almost all the grain....
Would a PTE clone be good with organic 2 row? Got the hops for it..

I'm open to any recipe idea...
Thanks

I have never noticed a difference in taste between organic/non organic grains or herbs. I cannot taste the difference between organic and nonorganic beer (at least, not a difference that I would attribute to growing conditions.)

I'm not pushing you away from organics—I think it's great to support them based on environmental and, maybe health benefits that are associated with organic farming. But I wouldn't expect the world's most amazing Pliny clone just because the grain is organic.

I wouldn't say there was any difference I've brewed with both - the benefit is really to the farmer and the earth - you are supporting old time farming and I applaud you for it.

Hops there can be a difference there.

I'll probably be switching back to all organic malt next year - I try to support the farmers on the food side - need to move it back to my brewing
