Good morning brewers!
I just want to get some opinions on the following extract recipe for a pale ale, specifically the hops additions (good combination, times, etc.).

5lb Pilsen Light DME
1lb Cara-Pils
1lb American Crystal 10L

1oz Centennial (60min)
.5oz Amarillo (45min)
.5oz Amarillo (25min)
.5oz Cascade (15min)
.5oz Cascade (5min)

1 packet of Safale US-05 dry yeast

TIA for your suggestions and comments.

I'd ditch the carapils, its already in the extract and with 1lb of crystal you don't really need it. I'd also move the 45min add to somewhere in the final 20mins, at 45mins you;re getting no flavor/aroma out of it and its basically a underutilized bittering add. Personally, I'd move it to flameout.

i'm with dcp totally on this. no carapils, the full oz of amarillo at 30 (none at 45), and the last cascade at flameout

I ended up leaving out the carapils and doing the Centennial at 60 and the Amarillo and Cascade at 10, 5, and flameout. It is currently still in the primary. I will probably bottle it up this weekend. I hope it's tasty!
