old mr beer HME cans

My brother gave me a can of Mr. Beer HME but it is from their old line and the can is only 550g. I still have 1 pound of DME and I have 1 packet of Mr. Beer LME that is 250g. If I use both the DME and LME along with the older can of HME do you think I will be ok? The HME is WCPA, the DME is amber and the LME is smooth.

PS - the good by date on the can of HME is December 2014. I also have my own yeast.

I agree, give it a shot; I'm sure it will produce a drinkable beer and it cost you almost nothing to make it.
