Should you take your OG before you add the yeast, or after? I have been doing it before.

Shouldn't matter much unless you're pitching a large starter without decanting. In that case, I'd check it after...

If you really want to split hairs I guess you'd be removing some of the yeast you just pitched if you took your sample after, but again I really think you're fine either way...
