I am fine tuning an All Brett Trois IPS recipe. I want to preserve the fruitiness of the brett Trois but I want to add some body. Was thinking of abt 8% of something to add body. The rest of the grist is 70% pils, 15% wheat malt, 3.5% Biscuit and 3.5% Acidulated.

I was thinking of using flaked oats, but was thinking that flaked corn might be more neutral? I like the flavor of rye but again, I am thinking it might not complement the fruitiness of the Brett Trois.

The hops Im using are Amarillo, Citra and Centennial.

Any thoughts??

Corn will reduce body. Oats are going to add a silky mouthfeel and some body. You could also consider flaked wheat or flaked barley.

I used 10% torrified wheat in my last brett trois IPA... it was almost too much mouthfeel.

EDIT: for a brett IPA, you are gonna drink it fast so it won't super attenuate as much as you might be thinking
