Allright guys, what do you think are the main differences between the two and which one do you prefer?

The normal AB is alright, but I love the Oakes AB. The vanilla from the oak really comes through. Didn't notice a carb difference when I had it. Wish I could find the Oakes AB for less than $16 a sixer...

Oaked AB ranks up there as the 1 of the most disgusting beers I've ever had.

AB is great though.

AB is one of my favorites, I drink it often. My Bil got a sixer of the oaked version and I rather enjoyed it. Many wooded beers I've drank left me with a feeling of eating a pencil or licking a 2x4. I thought the oaking was done well and it was a tastey beer. I still however prefer the original.
