Howdy All!

Living just north of Little Rock. Just got a Coopers kit for Christmas. Helped a friend once with an oatmeal stout, but never done this on my own. Can't wait to see how my first batch turns out.

Best of luck to you on your first brew. Just remember that one of, if not THE, most important virtue that you will need as a homebrewer is patience.

While you're waiting on your first brew to be ready to drink, I'd recommend ordering another kit because your first batch never lasts as long as you think it will. You may also want to spend some time at howtobrew.com to learn some of the more technical aspects of this incredible hobby.

Welcome aboard, If you want to stick with coopers There Irish Stout is very good if you age it like a month after bottling, however if you want to brew from scratch rather AG or EG or just Extract, This Link will give you some good recipes..http://hbd.org/cgi-bin/recipator/recipes
