Nitrogen Tank using Co2 regulator

I recently switched over a CO2 regulator I had to fit a nitrogen tank. I know that the CO2 regulator is rated up to 3300 PSI and the Nitrogen tank output pressure is 3000psi. I still have the old gauge on the regulator so when I open the tank the needle goes past the 2000psi mark.

Should I be concerned about long term use on that pressure gauge or will it be fine to use?

If it's rated for the pressure it should be OK.

I've just been using it with the co2 gauge and haven't had an issue yet..
