Wish you lived out this way,we lost a lot of bee keepers around the time I retired ('07). Some kind of disease,I forget the name. It hit a lot of bee keepers around NE Ohio.

Welcome to the obsession. I'm an apiarist too, our bees are doing great this year. We lost a hive two years ago to CCD, so we've been monitoring it carefully. Time to brew up a braggot sometime soon!
