Hi everyone. I've been reading some great advice here and decided to join up. I've been a newbie brewer for a long time, the kids having bought me a Brew Bag (don't ask), a Beer Machine (if you don't like Mr. Beer don't ask) and a Mr. Beer. I have a million hobbies and I cycle through them periodically. Now it's back to brewing.
I've graduated from Mr. Beer kits and am trying some extract recipes using fresh ingredients, though still doing 2 or 2.5 gallon batches in the Mr. Beer LBK. I just bottled a honey wheat and started an ESB based on the recipe in Palmer's book on Saturday. I've also done a couple of 1 gallon batches of cider in glass jugs, and have had a batch of mead in a jug for a couple of months. You guys have been a big help.
