Greetings everybody! Brand new from southwest chicagoland. I just picked up a cheapo starter kit and extract kit from a wonderful home brew store (two thumbs up to Chicago Brew Werks, and thanks for your help bob) that lucky for me is about two blocks from my house. Did my first boil last night and cant wait to try the finished product. Thanks to everybody for all the help on my future stupid questions.

Welcome to your new madness!!! I have been making wine since I have moved down here to the Springfield Missouri area but grew up in Plainfield all of my life. Making beer will be in my very near future. Everyone on here will give you their two cents on brewing and any other question you have. So don't hesitate to ask!!!
