I just put this together last night. I had to split it into 2 batches b/c my primaries are only 5 gallon buckets and I wanted to end up with 5 gallons after primary.
Here's the notes:
Berry Burn
5 Gallons
Water/Sugar to 1.085
5 Lbs Frozen Strawberries
5 Lbs Frozen Blueberries
1 Lb Frozen Mangoes
6 Big Jalapeno's
2 Packets Red Star Premiere Cuvee
I split everything between my 2 primary's. The only problem, one primary had sugar/water to 1.08 and the other had sugar/water to 1.06 (I ran out of sugar). Since I didn't really prepare for this batch I didn't think much of it.
I should be ok right? The plan is when both are at 0.992 I'll campden and transfer them to a 5 gallon better bottle, combining the 2 primaries.
