I am looking to buy a used exhaust hood with a fan included that was used industrially. The fan in it is a 115v fan, but it is wired through a box to be used on a 277v single phase industrial circuit. Would I be able to eliminate the converter box and wire the fan directly into a 110/120v residential circuit? Here is a picture of the electrical info from the hood assy and the fan itself.

It certainly looks like the blower could run from 120 volt single phase source. The decal on the blower looks like there may be a start or run capacitor required as well. It could be mounted in the converter box.

Is there a wiring diagram inside the converter box or on a decal?
