My starter is doing weird things...

I made a starter as I always do, this time with 1056 and the first time I went to swirl it since I dont have a stir plate it fizzed up like it was carbonated! It fizzed so bad it came out of my flask. I dont see how it could have been an infection since i had just made it 15 min before this. Any ideas???

Well, did it take over your house yet? What other "wierd things" is it doing? I think it just wants more wort.
