So I've had my Schwarzbier in the keg in the fridge for a couple of weeks now, planning to lager for a couple more. Is it okay to go ahead and put it on CO2 so it will be ready to drink in 2-3 more weeks?

Yup.

I always lager in the keg and force carbonate simultaneously. No good reason not to, if you can.
