I never get tired of these 2 moments in this hobby

  • The day after brew day and you see bubbles.
  • The moment your beer has hit the aged time in the keg. Carbonated just right, nice malt and hop balance, clear and you are proud of the product you just made.
The 2nd moment just happened with AHS Anniversary Brown Ale. Good beer for the screen porch in the evening now that it is 60 degrees in the evening.

I know what you mean. It doesn't seem to happen often enough for me. Last night I tried my oktoberfestbier along side Paulaner and decided that I think I prefer mine to the Paulaner.
I think the degree of freshness makes all the difference. I'm not saying mine is better by any means!

Totally agree.:mug: Bubbles in the airlock and the first fully conditioned pour.

I think the next best day is seeing a package from HBS on my porch
