So here is it 2PM in my neck of the woods and the hops that I planted this year, Magnum and Willamette, are not in the sun yet. It turns out that the sunny spot that my wife and I set aside for them is not as sunny as we thought. Damn those oak leaves!
Two of the Magnums are up, one at 18" the other 36"
One of the Willamette is about 4", the other rotted in the ground.
So the question my wife asked me is: 'should we move them to a sunnier spot?'
These are first year plants and I'm inclined to just leave well enough alone and move them in the spring next year.
Anyone with more experience have any thoughts?
