Mosin Nagant 800 Yards with Iron Sights

Hey guys went out the other day with the Mosin Nagant 91/30 doing some shooting 800 yards away at a steel torso target, using the iron sights. Made a short video of the adventure. Hope you all enjoy!

That's for sure, you can't beat a Mosin Nagant for the price.

Nice. 500 yards is the farthest I've shot with open sights. The black looked so small and was covered by the front sight post.

It definitely get's tough trying to see targets 500 yards and beyond. What helps out a little is the front sight post on my Mosin is tapered down to a fine point, the stock sight post is really wide.

Impressive. The farthest I've ever shot steel with my M91/30 is 400 yards. I'm not sure I could even see the target at 800.
