Not home brewing related, but for those of you who may enjoy Trappistes Rochefort, this may be of interest.
The jist of it is that there is a limestone company that wants to mine for limestone 1km from Rochefort Abbey as they dried up their other sources. Unfortunately this means it will disrupt the natural spring that supplies the town of Rochefort...La Tridane...and affect the townspeople as well as the beer. The mining company proposes to pump water from elsewhere to the abbey and town but the water quality will most certainly drop. As well, it will affect the natural ecosystem that exists there for the worst.

I already signed...I know it's in French so I'm gonna try to make up a guide for those who need it. Trying to get word out as these guys need as much help as they can get.
