I am brewing tomorrow and went to start to get my equipment ready and
see that there are some mold spots in my carboy. I currently have pbw in the carboy and will let it sit for a while and then will sanitize.

Do you think that's enough or is the carboy a lost cause?

PBW is a cleaner. You'll want to sanitize afterwards with Starsan or a bleach solution.

You need the spinner rag thing on the end of an electric drill and really scrub the thing, then keep it good for next time.
I made mine and put a glass marble in the rag to really get to the sides.
Then sanitise!
