I want to get a min fridge to use a ferm chamber with a stic-1000 build. It will be getting hot and want to move my carboy from my closet into the garage. I already have a keezer and really don't want another chest freezer as usually do 1 brew at a time. What do you use for a min fridge and what should I consider? I know it has to fit a 6.5 carboy with blow off tube or bubble lock, but looking for other things to consider. Maybe some photos of yours will help.

We're using a 26 bottle wine cooler I picked up on CL for $100. It's nice because it uses so little power. It doesn't have the cooling capacity for a lager, but works just great at low ale temps for lager-like brews - we can run it at 56* easily. You can kind of see through the glass door on the front, which makes it nice to check on krausen/blowoff without opening the door. The cords for the temp probes go through the bottom gasketed door without a problem.

With all the wine racks removed, no problem getting a 6.5 gal carboy with blowoff tube/jar all in there.

Hmm, WTH is that schmutz on my carpet??
