I recently bought a lot of 4 used corny kegs and after using some PBW on them, I have been finding metal flakes floating in the solution. Anybody else experience this?

Are you sure they're metal flakes?
Because metal things would usually sink...

Cheers!

Not necessarily, due to buoyancy and surface tension, things with a higher density can float based on geometry. Higher surface area and low mass objects, like something that is flaked, can very well still float.

Think of aluminum foil or floating a paperclip on water.

Well they're not on the surface of the water, but they aren't completely sunk either

I would advise you to open up the kegs, disassemble and thoroughly clean them out. I do not like the idea of drinking metal flakes.
