This fall I harvested some of my own hops that were growing in the backyard. I do not know what type they are.
From what I've found, I can use the hops for finishing or dry hopping, but should probably stay away from them for the bittering. I was thinking of making something like a pale ale, although some people have suggested to a belgian style ale.
Anyone have any thoughts or extract recipes I may be able to follow? I want to brew soon!
