Looking for a Brewmaster

We are in the process of starting up a brewery on the island of Oahu in Hawaii and wanted to know the best way to find a qualified and experience brewer to become our brewmaster.

Do you also live there presently? Find the local homebrew clubs, if there are some, and just start askin around to see who is serious enough for that jobor who they think would be able. Or just pay my whole way down there from Ohio and I'll be the brewmaster. Problem solved.

The Brewing Network's Brew Strong show has several episodes about opening a brewery, getting a job in the brewing industry, etc. I'd give them a listen; they're full of lots of useful info.
