I'm in London for a few months. Looking for some exciting breweries and taprooms to visit. Any suggestions welcome :)

You probably won't find the best beer in taprooms, but in pubs. Seek out the best beer pubs rather than taprooms.

If you are around until late May, plan a trip up to Cambridge (45 minutes on the train) to the Cambridge Beer Festival, one of the oldest in the country. Unfortunately, the Great British Beer Festival will probably be too late in the year.

Check out the Euston Tap- a pub in two halves on either side of the entrance to Euston station. one side is craft beers and the other side is ciders. Gets very busy as the bars are tiny and it spills out onto the pavement. I think the buildings are former pump houses for the station from memory.

Also, I tend to drink in the feathers when I'm in London- not far from Horseguards and Westminster and it has a good selection of real ales.

Yeah, +1 to the Euston Tap. It's quite close to the Bree Louise as well, which is another good beer pub.
