local purchase stir bars???

So what kind of stores carry these things? Any big box stores? Or are they pretty much online purchases only?

Beyond the interwebs I don't think you'll find it anywhere but a homebrew supply shop.

If you have a local Grainger, they do carry stir-bars, but there's no telling if they have them in stock.

Scientific laboratory supply places but those are hard to come by even in large & high-tech cities. Amazon/ebay.

I had to go up to Florence, Ky, yesterday with work. There's a true homebrew shop up there ( opposed to the two local options, a liquor store that sells supplies or a craft brew bar that carries supplies). Picked one up for $9.

It would be nice if I had a full blown shop that was local. My two local options will do in a pinch for the necessities, but when it comes to the little things, online is my main option...
