Well I am thinking about making a little tart ale for springs arrival. I wanted to make a light pale ale with the use of tart cherries in the secondary. Let me know what you think!

All Grain

8# Pale 2-Row
1# Crystal 20L
2oz Tettnanger @ 60 min
0.5oz Hallertauer @ 1 min
Safale S-05
2 cans Oregon Tart Cherries (14.5oz each) pureed

Strike 4.5 gal at 160* F
Mash at 152* F for 60 min
Sparge 2 gal at 170* F for 10 min
Extract 1-2 C for yeast starter when cool
Boil as normal and add hops as directed
Cool and move to primary for 7-10 days
Rack to secondary and add pureed tart cherries for another 5-7 days
keg or bottle as normal

I'm hoping to get the below:
OG: 1.045
FG: 1.008
SRM: 6
IBU: 31
ABV: 5%

Sounds divine! I really enjoy fruit beers in the spring and summer. Made a cherry stout with a friend a few years back - smoky, chocolatey stout with sweet cherries added in the secondary.
