Can you not create a light beer without lagering or keeping at very low temps?? I don't have a ferm chamber and use the weather for ferm temps. My wife likes light beers and cant find a recipe that doesnt include cold chambering. Please help so I can get this chick a drink...lol created by me.

What @Yooper said! Cream ale or Kolsch, keep the ABV and hops low, and let it sit for a couple of weeks at the coolest place in your house or stick it in a big tub of water. My Coors light drinkin wife and friends love em. I've actually become rather fond of them myself! Cheers [emoji482]

I do a SMASH using only Maris Otter malt and Styrian Celeia hops, and you might even be excused for thinking it's a lager, when in fact it's an ale. It's light, it's refreshing, and people who don't like really flavorful beer usually like this one. I ferment at 64 or 65 degrees.
