hey all - I'm looking to brew an APA in prep for thanksgiving . also using mostly what I've got on hand - hence the name "leftover". tried to keep this cheap, just needing some cascades/yeast - - everything else I had on hand.

to generalize - I'm shooting for something in the arena of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, but not necessarily looking to clone. (other grains I've got on hand and can add to the mix: Maris Otter, Wheat Malt, Chocolate Malt, Caramunich I Malt, Carabelge, CaraRed)

any thoughts on this recipe, or any reason it wouldn't be good? or - anything you might add to it, and make it better?

7lbs - 2 row
3lbs - Vienna
.25lbs - Carapils
.25lbs - Crystal80

Magnum - .5 oz @60
Wilammette - .5 oz @ 15
Amarillo - .5 oz @ 15
Cascade - 1oz each @ 5, 0
Yeast - US05

36IBU/6SRM/5.2%abv/FG 1.012

thanks for any input!

That looks spookily similar to a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale recipe I did recently and loved. I give it a thumbs up.
