I am new to the forums. Just started kegging today. I got sick of bottling. Anyways. I put my beer in the keg today and I went to purge the oxygen and put the co2 on and my tank was empty. Can I let the beer sit in fridge overnight and purge the o2 tomorrow?

I suppose you could toss in a couple of Alka Seltzer tabs and use the CO2 they produce to purge the head space ;)

But, I wouldn't sweat it...

Cheers!

I do have a package of carbonating tablets. Would those help or should I hust wait until tomorrow afternoo

Carb tabs are sugar and will take too long to do anything truly useful at this point.

Just wait for tomorrow, and leave the keg sitting quietly in the mean time...

Cheers!
