My wife and I just bought a house, lucky for us it came with an older Frigidaire Food Freezer 203 chest freezer. Even better, it works like a charm. We're finishing the basement as I speak, and I will be integrating a bar using the freezer into the great room alongside my brew-room. I am wondering though, how I convert the freezer into a keezer. What supplies are necessary, what is the best controller, do I have to modify the thermostat, etc.
Also, if anyone has this particular freezer, or knows a good spec resource, that would be awesome. I tried googling it and only found a couple expired auctions regarding the freezer.

There are so many threads on building a keezer. Spend some time browsing the forum and reading it will help. Here are a few links to get you looking in the right direction.

It helps to know how many cubic feet of space the freezer has so you can determine how many kegs will fit (depending on the type pin, ball, sanke). This will also determine if you need a collar and how tall.

Then you must decide if it will be a coffin on top, chrome tower or drilling through the collar for the taps.

You can buy a Johnson temp controller or save some money and wire up an aquarium temp controller. There is a very large thread on the later.
