and WOW!!! This stuff is fantastic!! What a great brew. The guy at my neighborhood package store took me to the private collection in the back to get this one. He even threw in a free snifter glass...I might be a regular there :drunk: but man do I love this. He said this is a very traditional Barleywine imported from the U.K. I took a pic of it...but I don't see the manage attachments below section like usual.

Edit: I was able to edit and add it.

I have my first barleywine kit sitting in my kitchen waiting to be brewed. Unfortunately got caught up in chores this weekend but hopefully I'll be brewing next weekend.

Can't wait!

Nice!! I still do PM batches, so I'm not sure if I'd be able to brew one. I would love to though!! This stuff is great!! I can't fathom how much grain goes into a batch. You must need a 20 or so gallon kettle for all the wort too. I'm very intrigued nonetheless. There will be one in my fermentor in the future that's for sure!! I'll have to do a bunch of research before I try it out.

Edit: P.S. Let me know how it goes!!
