Just force-carbed my first keg but did not hear any sound through the regulator. The gauge was showing the PSI I wanted and the valve was open to the keg but I didn't get any noise. When I was done I released the pressure through the second valve on the regulator and it definitely was flowing. Any ideas? Did I just needlessly shake my keg for a bit?

Thanks for the lightning fast response David. I got a pretty high quality regulator but didn't realize that not all of them are noisy. Just letting it settle for a few hours before I bring it down to serving temp. Makes me feel much better.

Not saying I have cheap regulators, but they both sound like someone forgot the Beano.
