just broke a front sealing faucet on a 2 faucet tower

So my question is, are towers front sealing only OR rear sealing only? Or, should I be able to replace my broken rear sealing faucet with a front sealing faucet? I would prefer a front sealing faucet but I would also prefer not to replace the good faucet and good tower at this time.

EDIT: I broke a rear sealing faucet, not a front sealing faucet

They all use a standard shank so the faucets are interchangeable.
