I have made a few ciders but have never seen it before. My recipe was white labs English cider yeast, 2.5 gallons of local fresh apple cider, apple concentrate, I added some yeast nutrient I also used star sand to sanitizer

Looks like that WL yeast got aggressive, no prob just clean sanitize the airlock and replace it.
