Summary: If you brew in a Keggle do yourself a favor and install a valve!
I had this valve sitting on a shelf for 6 months, decided it was time to install it yesterday before I brewed.
I used a stepped bit and drilled it out to 13/16 and it fit perfect. Even with the fat o-ring it still has a small drip leak on the bottom side. Didn't really effect brewing at all but it drives me crazy and now I decided to go welded instead of weld-less.
I have no idea why I waited so long to install a valve, it makes brewing in a keggle so much easier. I'm now hooked and I'll be adding valves to my others.
Just ordered a sight glass and thermometer from brewhardware.com and some fittings yesterday. Can't wait to hook this keggle up!
