AT&T stadium sounds like JerryWorld in Arlington, two thirds of the way to Fort Worth.
There is a lot of cool beer stuff in Fort Worth, not much in Arlington. Coincidentally, I will be at Shannon Brewery Friday in Keller. Thats probably thirty or forty minutes from JerryWorld, but they have a Red that is as good as it gets. The Chocolate Stout is world class too if youre into that.
If you stay on I-30 you will quickly be in Fort Worth. Famous landmarks to consider:
Flying Saucer , opened in Fort Worth in 1995.
Pour House , many taps
Rodeo Goat, creative burgers and local beer.
Ginger Man, friendly, knowledgeable
T&P tavern, a restored train station art deco diner.
Zio Carlo , real Italian pizza brewpub.
BTW, do not ever refer to Tarrant Co as the other side of Dallas. Seriously, dont.
Zman, I agree on the Velvet Hammer, a strong ale that really hides it's alcohol bite. Quite addictive. I have met Michael but I don't know him well. Peticolas is a good tour, but it doesn't have a taproom.
