Cider House Rules
Hello there,
I'm an incredibly novice fermenter person. I've made a few Brewer's Best kits. Imho, they taste like crap (a little odd sour note, despite what I think was fantastic sanitation).
I've also made a Mr. Beer kit, packaged it in decorative bottles (square flip top, not real beer ones). I didn't ever throw it in the fridge, it blew up and sent glass and beer all over the room. I guess next time I won't put a beer I made on display or something.
Main interest now is making apple wines. Made one gallon of it and thought it came out great, now I have three 1-gal carboys bubbling away.
Also, love ginger beer. But I'm too stupid to make it without fermentation, and I haven't sprung for a kegging setup yet to add some bubbles.
Either way, this is the first forum I've signed up for in ~10 years since I've ran my own. Guess that means you have some good content.
My username is from a PRNG. I like anonymity since I'm not in New Zealand.
