My first kit was a Christmas gift from the kids 10 or 15 years ago. Had a nice 5G stainless steel kettle. I use it to make small, like 2 to 2.5G batches. If I ever do a dunk sparge I might use it.

But every Friday after Thanksgiving it does yeoman's work - a big batch of turkey soup! This years version has onion, celery, carrot, green beans and all the turkey bits that the humans passed on yesterday. I'll throw some noodles or pasta in at the end. A bundle of back yard herbs adds a bit to the broth. I'm assuming a yield of 8 to 10 quarts. Part of my holiday therapy.
