Well I did a mock up today to make sure everything is watertight & just go through the motions before my first real brew. I found a couple of leaks that should be easy to fix. Other than that I think that I am ready for my first brew! :)

Great setup! I really like your sparge "arm", I might have to borrow your idea. Cool idea using a rim, could you post a pic of that too?
 
Very nice! Might as well do fire up the burners for your test run too. You can get used to the dial, figure out how fast you can heat up, and most importantly get an estimate on your boil off rate.
