Any chance you can check your index.php in the /var/www folder and see if it has any references to google.com/jsapi?

A weak solder joint could definitely have done it. When you say "soldered up", what board are you using?Well, I got it going. I'm not sure what the problem was, but I just kept re-trying things and eventually it recognized it. Soldered it all and it's still showing, so we're good!

Maybe it's because I do it so much, but I found investing in a DuPont crimper a pretty good way to go.I just soldered connectors on the ends of the probe cables.

I guess that's right. I am not sure what the code is around here but a GFI is not a bad idea. I agree, there should be one there already. Doubling up on GFI on the same circuit is bad I think.If it's in a garage built in the last almost 20 years, every outlet out there and in the bathrooms are already going through a GFI circuit. Standing water, leaking pipes/water heater? I don't know otherwise.
