I bought a malt muncher 2, and built an adapter plate so I could mount it on a bucket.
I said it to the factory recommended 0.050 reading for an initial run, and ran some pilsner malt through. How does the output look? I'm thinking I might want to go a bit finer.

I have the same mill, and agree that it looks too loose. I generally have mine set about half way between the .050 and .025 markers. With my system, any tighter and I might get a stuck sparge. At that, it’s often mighty slow to drain. How tight you can go depends on your setup. I had it tighter, and backed it off as needed.
