How to ship hops

I have a buddy who just bought a new house that has some cascades growing in it. He sent me a box but he put them in a plastic bag and they all turned brown. He says what he sent was about 1/4 of what he had. What is the best way for him to send me these hops and not have them spoil. thanks,

There's really no good way to ship wet hops. You can NDA them in whatever packaging you want and they'll probably be fine, but still kinda goes against the point. Either have him dry them, or it's just not really feasible.
