How much priming sugar?

Gonna be bottling 1 gal soon. Was wondering how much sugar would one recommend for priming?
 
Heh, I like the calculator in my signature (but yeah, I did write it, so I'm biased).

Agree with weighing your sugar if possible. Much more accurate results.
 
For a standard beer, if not carbing to style, the rule of thumb is 1oz/gallon of beer, to achieve 2-2.5 volumes for co2. That's why most 5 gallon kits come with 5 ounces of sugar. ;)
